| The Economic Impact of Game and Coarse Angling in Scotland
The Scottish Executive published the above survey in March 2004. This is the first comprehensive survey of the value of freshwater angling to the Scottish Economy to ever be published. As well as masses of useful information the report clearly shows the significant importance of commercial rainbow trout fishing in Scotland. In fact it is second only to salmon fishing and is worth more than brown trout and coarse fishing put together. The whole report can be viewed on line at Link to full Report here. or copies can be purchased from The Stationery Office Bookshop, 71 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, EH3 9AZ. Tel : 0870 606 55 66.
