The Fishery. |
Loch Venachar is situated amongest some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland within the Loch Lomand and Trossachs National Park. The loch is 1042 acres and 4.5 miles long by 0.9 miles wide and offers excellent traditional drift style fly fishing oppertunities for native and stocked brown trout and also sea trout. |
Throughout the 2007 season many anglers have enjoyed the greatly improved facilities at loch Venachar and due to our new stocking policy and habitat improvements catches have increased dramatically. Scotland has a new Jewel in the crown for brown trout fishing! |
Facilities.We have a fleet of 30 excellent boats all with new 4 stroke outboards. Along with a fantastic new purpose built fishing lodge with a licenced restaurant,disabled facilities and specialist Greys tackle shop. Cafe opens from 8:30am. Above all we provide great Brown Trout fishing in splendid surroundings with staff that provide a high level of customer care!

Evening sessions are available between May 1st & August 31st. Juniors (Under 18) acompanied by an adult. Fishing clubs or Groups - For competitions with 5 boats or more, the limit per boat is 14 trout per boat. Single angler boats rates Mon - Fri Apply Consession Rates.
